TRANSCRIPT OF MEETING:

Limitless Lab Zoom Meeting – January 23

VIEW RECORDING – 89 mins (No highlights)

@0:05drmikevt@ymail.com

Okay. Well, welcome everybody to our second session, still in the first week of six. We obviously did most of the purpose module.

know everybody is busy and going at their own speed, trying to complete the worksheet. The worksheet is a lot of work, doesn’t necessarily you need to do all of it.

Some of those tips and strategies, whatever speaks to you, whatever you think may help you, identify or confirm your purpose is what you do.

And again, please share it with us on the WhatsApp. If you have questions, you can also share it with me privately and we can go over it.

And again, the reason why I don’t expect everybody to have their work done on Thursday while we only had our first call on Monday, because it’s the work week and everybody’s busy.

you know, I urge you to during the weekend to catch up on the first worksheet that we had on we had on Monday and to do today’s worksheet so not only you stay current but again it’s about implementation it’s like you know it’s like sitting in class it’s spending time is spending energy and then not implementing would be a shame right because you’re not gonna get really anything out of it if you don’t do the action part of it and that’s why I’m here I need to make your accountable I want to see some of those worksheets and I want to pull you along because I know that it’s going to be very rewarding going through this and actually implementing all of this the first two modules purpose and plan are foundational I know everybody’s more excited about three but especially number four because we’re gonna spend a lot more calls on number four than any other module but still without that foundation we don’t want to go in the wrong direction

And I know most of us here already have a really good sense of their purpose because we’re not young kids anymore, we’ve been here, we are in a certain industry, for example, we got our doctors that want to go from an alopatic practice into more of a wellness functional medical practice and going from insurance based to cash and so that’s a transition and they know what they want to do, want to help people, but instead of masking symptoms and keeping them alive, they want to go to more a practice where they can address the root cause and really eradicate the disease.

So that’s the next step, that’s the next level, right? But many times even in that endeavor, we need, we have that purpose, we need to ignite that passion to do that because there’s a little work to be done, especially to be successful, but we need that passion.

And most of us forget that plan, we just get pulled in many different directions, we’re overwhelmed and we’re not focused.

We’re really going to focus on module two is really get a plan in place and for those who downloaded or printed the worksheet, it’s 27 pages.

It’s a lot. There’s there’s four parts to it. We probably only get three parts done today and that’s okay.

We don’t need to rush. We got 12 sessions. We got plenty of time. That’s where we are. So the reason I share this and I’m going to share this every time we start is our seven steps because we want to know what we’ve done.

We don’t want to know what we’re going to do and where this all fits in, right? Because we talked about purpose.

We need that purpose that fire in our stomach. We need to make sure we’re doing the things that align with our values.

We’ve our core values that are things that we are excited about the things that give us fulfillment in light and most of us here.

It’s about helping people or it’s from transitioning into, you know, one position. job into another one, like Terrence was explaining to us, he wanted to be a full-time artistic performer, right?

So it needs to make that transition, there needs to be a plan to do that. But once that’s fired and their purpose is there to get out of that comfort zone and pursue what you want to pursue, and then we make that plan which is we’re going to work on today, then it’s going to be easy breezy from there because then we can stay focused.

We know when we’re wasting our time and when we are actually doing something that will contribute to that purpose and that goal.

So again, when we look at our share screen here, the seven steps, we’re at purpose and today at plan, which is the foundation, right?

And then we’re going to go into learning how to get in flow state. We’re going to learn the difference between being present in the moment and flow state or being in the zone.

And we’re going to again give you the tools to practice and master the skill of being in that flow stat and being in the zone, because that’s where you win, that’s where you produce, that’s where you also, you know, maximize your performance, you gotta be able to kind of turn that on and off.

And so it’s not just for musicians or for top athletes, anybody can acquire that skill. And that’s module number three, four, that’s where most people are here and that’s what I’m an expert into, but that’s what is very exciting.

That’s part of the self optimization where we’re going to teach you how to upgrade your body and your mind with biohacking strategies and talk about technologies, but it’s about today it’s really possible to become superhuman to reverse or go beyond your genetic programming.

It’s happening and we can measure that objectively and so I’m going to share a lot with you about how to be in control and optimize your immune system, how you repair DNA.

you stay focused, how you, you know, work on your belief system, how you’ll be pulled forward by the future, and how to objectively reverse your biological age, because I believe we all can easily be 100 years or become 100 years chronologically, but we don’t want to be suffering in a hospital and being pain, right?

So the key here is life span or quality of life, and so we want to get to 100, but we want to be able to do the things a 40, 50 year old does, and we still want to go play that 18 holes of golf, still want to go out and enjoy our family, we want to be able to be really, and 100% enjoy life, and that’s what biohiking is about.

today, that is all possible, not just for the elite, but for you and I, if we learn those strategies, and for the doctors amongst us, it’s great for yourself, but also a lot of that information, you can kind of, you know, to your patients and teach them those types of things are, have the technology and Australia.

the G is available at your office. So, so that’s all the cool stuff. And then at step number five, we take everything that we learned in one, two, and four, and we’re going to mold that into routines that we repeated daily.

We’ll have a morning routine and evening routine. And so everything going to be almost scripted. But those routines are the things that you can count on each and every time to either be in the zone, to produce, and to continue to stay in optimal health.

And also, optimal minds. So that’s the routine. That’s where we put it all together, basically, right? Something that we can utilize, that we can implement, and that we can count on.

And when we implement that long enough, you will do another level. You will get into that growth zone. You will be surrounded by other people.

will, again, be growing in more successful, and feel healthier, and feel better, and find more fulfillment. And then, you know, you need to keep doing that.

And you’ve got to repeat the cycle, sharpen the and continue to scale. So those are the seven steps and again we went into purpose so before we move on to plan are there any questions or not just questions any maybe acknowledgments or remarks on the first worksheet the things that you learned things that you really like things that you think we’re missing you didn’t like you know I keep it open for a little bit of conversation before we diving to module number two.

Anybody?

@8:36Justin Brost

Yeah just one thing I one thing I will say is when I first started and I apologize Mike I really do but when I first started it Monday night I was like I’ve heard this all before 20 times I’m just you know I mean I’m old and but I have to admit by you know halfway

Mark and definitely by the end it was like a real level of excitement and interest in really wanting to get into this because you’re pushing issues and making me think about some things that I haven’t really thought about in a lot of years.

@9:19drmikevt@ymail.com

Yeah no and sometimes it’s not that you didn’t hear it before but sometimes we need to be reminded about certain important things in life right and so I know just when you have your passion but sometimes it needs to be reignited and redirected and I hopefully this kind of helps with that so yeah I appreciate your input.

Anybody else?

@9:40Jayden

Well yes I think for me it really helped me to organize my thoughts and my just even think about the questions that you were asking because if there are not things that we kind of do this just think about but it makes me think about it and that kind of made me more aware of what I needed to work on for myself.

as well as from our business. So it’s an organization part of it that is helping you a whole lot.

@10:05drmikevt@ymail.com

Very good. Anybody else? All right, excellent. we’re going to move on. And again, it’s lot of work. of you have gone through the whole worksheet.

Other may have not even started really yet. This is a work in progress. I still should keep working on this and revisiting and asking those questions and reevaluating or re-igniting that passion.

And you always can redo the exercise and see if come up with the same answers. purposes may change throughout life.

The superpower you want as a kid is probably not the same as the superpower you want now, right? one.

And number two, there’s things that happen in life. Unfortunately, many times they are unfortunate things. But people find their passion or their purposes in certain situations or things that happen to them or their close families.

their loved ones and so things change and so we need to keep checking in into these questions and take that time for ourselves and today it’s going to be great because we’re going to talk about organizing and making that time and so I would say that’s module two today and we can get all through it anyways because it’s a lot but it’s probably the most important for your life because we’re all busy, we’re overwhelmed at times and we are we are stressed because of it right and so today we talk about creating clarity and organizing and we talk about how to save time and how to be more productive and all these types of tools and most people don’t take the time to learn how to save time because you’re too busy to do this worksheet and in the weekend you just finally have a few hours to relax and I understand that more than anybody else but this module is going to be so

important that you implement everything and get organized because we live in a chaos because we bombarded with 14,000 messages each and every day and so there’s this chaos going at us and what we need to do instead of being a subject or a victim of that chaos, we need to create a system and be in control of that chaos.

That’s really what we need to do and that’s basically what Module 2 is about and of course that plan you know is directed towards the goals and dreams and the purpose that you can discover in Module Number 1.

So I’m going to share with you the where is it okay can I move this yeah we go we’re going to share the worksheet for today everybody can see it hopefully have it in front of you and point the two but this is a

easy way for you to kind of follow. And so we’re going to have four parts to this, and I hope we’re going to to two or three parts of this tonight.

Again, no need to rush. And then after each segment, I’ll stop and then we can discuss or answer any questions that we may have.

But basically, the first thing that I want to talk about, because a lot of people are stressed out, all of the entrepreneurs today, they’re burned out.

We think that working harder is being productive and productivity or the definition of productivity is far different than the harder you work, the more productive you are, right?

So those are not equal. So the first thing we want to talk about here is that we need to create our own plan, our own agenda, our own calendar, and we need to be in control of that, because many times we’ve all different, many different directions by people.

work with our boss, by our significant others, and we got to start here today’s is make that plan, but also it’s on our rules.

We gonna decide and make that plan out. Unfortunately, you can’t pay me to make your plan for you because your life’s totally different than mine and the things that I need to put in place will not work for you and vice versa.

So all I can do here is really give you all the possible tools and the insight to make that happen.

So this is where you and that’s why I emphasize is this is probably the most important worksheet that’s gonna save you thousands of hours of time in the future and therefore also give you a lot more stress in the future because when you are in control of your life, in control of your agenda and you know what tomorrow brings and next week and next month and next year because it’s all going towards that same purpose and goal then guess what?

There is no stress. There is not much to worry about. Of course, there’s going to be emergencies, but they will sidetrack you a little bit, but then you can straight back on track because you have that plan.

You have that calendar, right? So those things happen. right now, most people, we have a vague idea where we want to go, but we’re always pulled in different directions and sidetrack, and that’s why things don’t move at the speed we want to move.

So we’re going to create that plan, we’re going to make, we’re going to get control of our calendar and over agenda and over life, but by our own rules.

And so the first thing we need to do is we need to gain control, because control creates clarity. more we have control over everything that’s going on, our chaos around that, our agenda, the things that will be happening tomorrow and next week and next month, the more control we have, the clearer everything is.

And the more clarity we have, the less stress we have, right? the side note, I was when COVID started, I had to

those the doors to the to the stem cell clinic. And I was kind of doing not much just all let’s start a podcast.

Let’s have some fun and see what happens here with this COVID thing. Meanwhile, thinking what is my purpose? What is my next venture, right?

That’s what I was doing. But a doctor colleague of mine called and said, hey, we need help screening people from medical marijuana in the state of Florida.

I said, sure. So I ended up doing about a hundred calls per week on people with anxiety, ADHD, and the list goes on.

And obviously there’s therapies and there’s smart drugs and autropics and medical marijuana. It’s all there for them. you know what, talking to a few hundred of those in just a few weeks, I figured out quickly there was an underlying common, I would say of these mental conditions.

And it was these people. The majority at least They had no purpose in life They were living day to day not just financially, but also not knowing what tomorrow brings financially or otherwise And so if I put myself in their shoes, and I don’t know what tomorrow brings or next week or next month I probably would worry all the time and That uncertainty probably uncertainty of what’s gonna happen Probably will all these feelings will turn into what anxiety depression stress, right?

So yes, there’s therapies for that and there’s drugs for that But unless we fix the underlying cost of purpose in life a plan Something that gives us fulfillment.

Yes, there’s gonna be stresses and certainties negative emotions and all these you know things that that Turn into anxiety depression PTSD and so it’s it’s it’s it’s it’s kind of a good story because up until then I’ve written seven or eight books

all health related but this book that again you can download for free it’s right there on the screen you guys it’s a big one and a lot of these modules are based on this book but it’s the only book that I said I need to go deeper than just talk about health because I just personally experienced that these people yes I can say or get of rhythm or get of the atterol and I have anotropic for you meaning a natural supplement that helps you focus too but without the side effects that I find there was much more to this resolving these people’s issues and that’s when I dove into purpose and plan and those types of things the first book where I went just beyond health and realized that there’s other aspects that we need to address to be successful not in only conquering disease or medical conditions but also in success and in life so that’s a little bit of side note that but yes use this book

Okay. It’s a big reference. It’s easy to read for all these work things that we do. It’s available to you on this worksheet.

You can click the link, but also obviously on our private page, have the PDF available. So, what we’re going to talk about now is control creates clarity and clarity, reduce stress.

And this is what we’re going to go over. We’re going to talk about living stress free about a plant, brain dump, and then we have a plant flow, the SOD framework.

And so, these are all tools that will kind of help you, reducing that stress and gaining clarity on where we’re going.

So, we talked about today’s fast-paced world and the 14,000 messages bombarding us, which creates that chaos, right? And so, we need to really put a system in place to

a control of dead chaos, right? And so over here, when it talks about triggers, I’m gonna give you 30 seconds here, and you can finish later again, just to make sure you know what to do on these worksheets.

But I want you to start thinking about what situations make you anxious of overwhelmed in your life. And just try to think of one now, and then later on when you revisit this worksheet, just add a few more to it.

So what situations, not people, what situations make you overwhelmed or anxious? And I’ll once you have one or two, how does that lack of control, because you don’t have a control over that situation.

Apparently, otherwise you wouldn’t be anxious or stressed. How does that lack of control contribute to your stress? Try to verbalize that on how the fact that you can control a certain relation, get you all stressed out and anxious or upset even, or frustrated.

And don’t worry about finishing it, just kind of draft something, put your tops on there, and then later on you can kind of formulate those better.

And then the third question would be what areas of your life you feel are most disorganized? What areas in your life are most disorganized?

Because then you have an idea, you know, where the problems are already, and now we’re going to come up with tools and solutions.

And the first one is called the plan first, and the plan first has five components. Because a lot of people, we hear it all the time, oh, especially in business, oh, you need a business plan.

And as a small business, all of you are thinking, oh, it’s all in here, I don’t need to write it down.

But when you don’t write it down and you don’t take the time, again, take the time to organize and take that business plan, usually your business is going to

fail. Think about you doing an investor presentation, right? And you’re very excited, you have something that’s going to change humanity, you think it’s going to make the world a better place and you’re all passionate and excited and the investor is listening and you’re done with your presentation.

What’s the first question the investor is going to ask? Everybody knows that answer. What’s your plan? Where’s your plan?

Every investor that would be the first? What’s your strategy to make this realize, right? That doesn’t mean you have to have all the how-tos or the details, but there has to be a plan.

There has to be a strategy and it’s not just in business. It’s the same in life. If we want to be successful in our life, we need that plan.

We need that strategy in life, right? So then it says that in the middle of the page, the success criteria that thinks you want to achieve.

So this exercise, what it is, imagine yourself. on the first of February of two thousand twenty six a year ahead from now so today it’s two thousand twenty six what they are we were uh January the twenty third right two thousand twenty six a year from now and you’re going to look back so the question there is what accomplishments would make you proud so you’re looking back a year from a year from now what would make you proud start writing this down so for Terrence I don’t think Terrence is here today but it would be I’m a hundred percent involved in arts and performance for just that it may be I I got a I started the FDA approval process for my equipment and I’m selling 50 units per month whatever it may be for our doctors it may be we were able to get rid of the alopadic medicine business because we were doing so good with our wellness practice that we are paying the bills and we’re actually helping people the right way whatever it may be right or it could be

just a person like Michael that says, you know what, I want to get to the next level, I want to find fulfillment in life, and I just want to be the best version of myself.

And so what is it that you see looking back a year from now? And so when you write it down, those are the things that you did when you look back.

Now these are the things that you’re going to have to do, right? So that’s how these exercises work. What is it that you accomplished?

It’s okay, now we know what we need to do, all right? And these already reflects who can help you with the next part.

This we will talk about is in part four probably for next week, but we talk about the team of experts.

But even here you can already think, okay, who do I need to accomplish that? Some of you already hired me as a mentor to make that transition from allopedic medicine into the wellness center.

So you need a Dr. Mike, doesn’t have to be an able to What you need? And who else do you need?

You know, do you need a financial advisor? Do you need? Who else do you need? What team do you need around it?

And we go into much more details on that in a part four of this module. But you already can kind of think about, okay, this is what I need to achieve.

Who I need, what help do I need? Now, the reason why this is important, I’m trying to get to the next page.

The reason why this is important, because if you don’t have a who, it falls on you. And if everything falls on you, you’re gonna be overwhelmed, there’s gonna be chaos, and there’s gonna be lots of stress.

So I already start thinking, who do I need? What help do I need to accomplish this? can’t do it all by yourself, guys, to get to that next level, okay?

So then, the next component of this plan first is called the next five to ten projects planter so you’re going to put down and right now if you can think of one put it on the first line the others can come later five to ten small focus tasks focus test is one hour project 60 minute project that will move that goal forward from the previous page what is it that you can do for one hour to move that forward for example if one of my things on the previous page that I looked back for here was I want a best selling book published right then here it may be this project is I need to talk to a ghostwriter or I need to find out where to publish it so you need to do some research on where you’re going to get this book published or how you’re going to get it published that may be one of these five to ten

or checks because you need to get started. Right? That’s just an example. All right. And then next, the daily Kellen’s tracker.

So that is what small consistent action will you take daily to stay on track. Right? So this action is anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour.

So what’s the task? What’s the time of day because you want to keep the time of day the same?

And what’s the duration? So for my example for the book, okay? The task here is, I know my bigger tasks on top there, but the task, the daily task is, I gotta write.

I gotta start writing, right? So the task is writing. The time of the day, well, let’s say I’m more focused in the morning, 6.30 a.m.

7.30 a.m. for the duration of 60 minutes. But I’m going to do that every single day. That’s the only I’m going to get somewhere.

Because these things here, we talk about Kellen delay, but these are must do’s, right? Success is repeating the seemingly mundane tasks or actions.

That’s what success is. It’s taking those small incremental steps, but you need to take them daily. These are must-dos.

And later on, when we talk about controlling your calendar, you will know how to kind of put it in your calendar, how to organize that book.

Again, I gave you the example of the book. What is your example? What small thing do you need to do every single day here to make things happen?

And then the last part, which is the fifth component of that exercise, plan first, is think about what are the consequences if I don’t do this?

What are the consequences if I don’t do this? This plan first is five components. This is component number five.

It’s running down consequences. What will happen if I don’t do this? Take these daily incremental steps, decide the hour here and there to get things done and move towards January 23rd of 2016.

That’s when this needs to be done, right? Any questions on the plan first? I’m going to get pretty simple straight forward.

Everybody heard about the brain dump before. I usually do it part of my early morning routine because again, I’m organized, got the calendar, things are going through your mind, a brain dump, everybody heard about it.

It’s taking a piece of paper and it only have to take five minutes. It doesn’t have to take any longer and write down.

Or if you’re an artist, you can draw it too. You don’t have to necessarily write words. but every top, every task, every worry, everything, even if it’s insignificant, you dump it on that piece of paper, right?

Excuse me. Now, with good reference here, you can write it down because it’s not on there. If you like to learn more about brain dumping, there’s a good book called Morning Pages by Julie and why this works so well.

First of all, when you dump everything out on that piece of paper, suddenly, you don’t feel stressed anymore. You feel calm because your thoughts are no longer racing.

So it creates clarity, that brain dump, right? So that’s a good thing. Now, what are some examples, right? Because examples always help you think, oh, that’s what it means.

So it could be like, you get up, you do your brain dump. Oh, my back’s hurting. I really need to make an appointment with my cat.

or Practor or date nights coming up and I still didn’t get a babysitter or a dog sitter It’s May I need to plan my family vacation because I still don’t know where I’m going to take kids and a family or the car my oil light has been on for two weeks my car really needs service I really need to make an appointment for the car service or I didn’t sleep good and I’ve not been sleeping good for the last few days why am I not sleeping good and what I’m going to do about it right so those are the things that are crossing your hand and you put them on that page and what happens then is the next step is you’re going to organize the you’re going to organize those starts in actionable things so for example you know if your car needs service you don’t want it to break down so you actually put in your to-do list or your calendar you’re going to put in you know make an appointment with the you know service department of your car dealership whatever it may be or if you’re going to have a date night with your wife or yourself you can have

plan flow. SSC strategy are starts continue. So this is a worksheet that you can use personally or as a team as a couple or as a business team or you and the other executives or you and your partner in business so you can do just for you or as a team and as a business, right?

And so you’re going to do this once a month or once every 60 or even 90 days, you know.

So at least once every three months, but you can do it every month. And what you’re going to do in the first column, you’re going to write down the things that you would like to start.

For example, you want to start exercising or going to the gym 30 minutes per day. It’s an example. Or you want to get up 15 minutes early in the morning because you want to practice breath work.

Or you want to start calling your parents every weekend. Or you want to start brain dumping because you heard it on a

and it’s like, it’s interesting, I think that may help me with my stress and clarity in the morning. Start brain pumping, right?

So that’s what you want to start doing. You write those things down, then the second column is, what activities do you want to stop because they drain you?

And maybe you think they’re not there, but there’s probably many activities that can think of that, yeah, that drains me, I don’t like it, I want to stop it.

For example, these are examples that I, that you won’t even think of, but you know, what I needed to stop was associating with negative people surrounding yourself or communicating with ungrateful people, engaging with haters on social media, you know, don’t waste your time checking your phone during dinner, you know, maybe it’s something that you do and maybe it’s a bad habit.

So these are all or interrupting people when they’re talking, know, it’s something that I used to do and I have to be conscious about their because we always are eager, you know, not to listen but eager to response and corrupt people.

And if that’s something that you do, again, you know, it’s something that you recognize that’s the first step and then number two, do something about it.

So what do you want to stop doing interrupting people engaging with haters on social media and what is it that you want to do going to the dance class that you don’t like?

What is it that you want to stop? So write that down because these are personal experiences and lessons and the idea is that you don’t repeat them.

Right. And then the third column is what do you want to continue doing? So these are activities that are good.

You started them. They’re good. They’re benefiting you. And these are activities you want to keep doing. For example, know, I started a while ago, I started to do hydrogen inhalation.

for one hour at night. I feel it benefits me. It doesn’t take time away from me. So I’m going to keep on doing it.

So I’m writing it down. Date night, keep on doing it one on one time with your children. Keep on doing it.

I’ve got a mentor for the last two months. Yes, it’s not cheap, but you know what? I’m learning so much.

I want to get to the next level. I’m going to keep my mentor, making appointments with yourself. We didn’t talk about it yet, but it’s coming.

So what is it that you started doing that you like and then you keep on going? only question you got to ask here though is are these things that you want to keep on doing?

Are they helping or contributing to your goals and dreams to the align with your values? Because if they’re not, you’re just wasting time, right?

If it’s like, you know what? like to go get drunk with my buddies on Friday night. Maybe it’s something that you like to do.

The question now is, and you want to continue doing is the question now is, does that contribute to your goals and dreams?

All right, and I hope you answered there’s no right But that’s the question you got to ask with the things that you want to continue to do now Of course if they further yourself development if they’re healthy for you if they get you in a meditative state If they get your physically better all those things if it helps you with Upgrading your mind of course no matter what you do that always will be something positive there So you want to continue to do this and again you do it once a month or once every 60 to 90 Days Now the things of column one the things that you start to do those are also things that will you we will have to make Actionable steps and put them in your calendar right those things.

are new. They’re not in your calendar yet You put them in your calendar and you put it on repeat every day repeat every Friday Whatever it is that you want to do and then again 36 you know it’s later you evaluate you want to stop them or do you want to continue them all right Really good action

size. Next one, the SOD framework, it’s stress options and decisions, okay? Because all of us are stressed and many of us are in a, I would call a leadership position, we’re maybe responsible for the family, we own a business, we’re the owner of the business, we have employees, and sometimes it puts a lot of stress on us, right?

So we need to understand that there are options, as stands for stress, all stands for options. So I’m gonna go over an example, all right?

So we get this out. So let’s say your owner business, it’s financially not going that well right now and your wife and your daughter come to you and they say, your daughter, the daughter needs a new car.

Because- this one’s falling apart and we went looking at the color and we saw this Camry and we did our research and it’s it’s a very safe car and it lasts long and it’s a great value.

So we’re looking at this to you like Camry for so and so your daughter. Alright, so they look they’re both looking at you very stressful because you know you really don’t have the finances to do that right now.

It’s not the best timing. Of course she needs a car because she needs to go to a place as A, B and C.

You don’t have time to drive around anymore either so it’s a stressful situation. So instead of making a decision or a bad decision or saying no we’re getting into a discussion you just list all the options that you have.

You don’t have to make decision right now. So the options are for example you buy a new car open one.

Number two you don’t buy a new car. Number don’t have to decide right now you just decide not to decide right now.

Number three go over other options. Maybe there’s other costs that are not as expensive or maybe we got to look to used cars or maybe we got to look into leasing a car or maybe I should call my CPA and ask what the best way is maybe we can lease this car through the company and it’s a better text right now if my daughter can drive it because she works on the weekends for the companies, she’s filing charts.

I’ll make this up but list all the options right and then what decision will you make so you tell your your wife and your daughter you’ll briefly say look let me go to the options and see what’s best.

Next week Friday let’s sit down and I’ll make a decision by then so that’s why you answer that you’re going to make decision by the time the decision is that you’re going to have a meeting with your wife and your daughter and going to have it next Friday at 7 p.m.

and so now meantime you can explore those options talk to your ADA and make an informed decision, there’s no reason to stress about it because you’re not going to make a decision right now, okay, that’s just an example.

So with this example, kind of write an example of yourself, it doesn’t have to do with your goals or dreams or your business, it can be personal.

And next time you find yourself in a stressful situation where you have to make a decision, change your thinking, you don’t have to make a decision.

Find out what your options are and kind of kick that decision down the road a few days, a week, two weeks, what’s the urgency, right, what’s the urgency, all right, we’re almost to this first part.

Love is all you need, beetle song, right, I think it’s the blue album, is it the red one, anybody knows, I think it’s the blue one, yeah, so what you guys going to do, again, you’re going to make two

lists and you’re going to pin them. So in your iPhone, have the notes section, right? And you can pin certain notes.

you’re going to make an I love to list and I dislike lists and you pin them so you can get to them quickly.

And so here’s the reason, right? Because when you are disliking something and you’re in a grumpy mood, because you’re doing something you don’t like for me, it would be something like putting furniture together.

I would get very frustrated and grumpy very quickly if somebody asked me to put furniture together, right? So that’s an example of what happens when you’re in that grumpy mood.

You make poor decisions, right? I may eat bad foods. I may eat fast food. may go for a few beers.

I may go shopping and spend money. shouldn’t be spending usually when you’re in a bad mood. You make bad decisions.

And so when we find ourselves in a situation where we Rumpy or not in the best mood we gonna refer to our I love to list right so on the next page what you need to do and you can start with one in each of those and then again oops went too far you’re gonna make those two lists right first of all what do I love to do what energizes me what excites me activities and there’s three lines but like three or four on one line you know you want to have 10-12 things so I’ll give you examples spending time with my daughters spending time with my girlfriends calling my daughters texting my daughters texting my girlfriend during the day calling my best friend in Belgium boating hiking doing nature walks helping others educating others listening to Dutch music because I’m originally from Belgium and so I don’t hear that much when by myself it’s fun and it’s exciting to listen to some music from my own

language, self-development, those types of things. That’s kind of what I have in my love to list, right? And then you put things that really drain you that you don’t like.

So if I list it says handiwork, like putting together furniture, being around ungrateful and unkind people, marketing scams, why is it there?

Because I’ve been scammed many times by market, they’re so so that something that I despise, I don’t want to be around.

Wasting time is something that’s a pet peeve of me. late, not having juice, I like juice, not having juice, not sleeping well, irritates me.

I got to always figure out what’s going on and trying to do better. So what is it that drains you?

is the little pit peeve of you? What is it that you don’t like, right? And so make that list and it’s a dynamic list.

Because you will explore new things, you will do new things. Maybe you’ll try a dance lesson or you’ll try to

you hydrogen inhalation or you try whatever it may be. So the list are dynamic. Are you encountered a situation that you really disliked or you had to do something that you really disliked?

So keep on adding to those lists. And so the idea is that when you find yourself frustrated, irritated in a dislike situation, you pull up the I love to do lists and you actually do something on the list.

Sometimes it’s something like calling your best friend, texting your wife, calling up your daughter. Or in my case, just listening to Flemish music, right?

And just looking at that list already keeps your mind, just looking at the list and popping it up without actually doing it already shifts your mind away from the frustration you had putting the furniture together, right?

All right, we got one more guys and then we’ll take a little bit Questions are some thoughts from people, but the last one is something that I learned a long time ago, and that I actually put in practice and worked really well, and it’s the ARC triangle.

A stands for affinity, meaning liking something or somebody, right? Reality is what do we have in common, and communication is obviously communication, right?

So you got to see this as a triangle, and if one of the three goes up, the other two automatically go up, you can’t change that, and if one of those three go down, the other two go down too.

So now if something happens, and you notice principle, you can fix it if you want to. For example, you get into an argument with your significant other.

You don’t You disagree on something that means that reality went down, you’re not agreeing, you’re disagreeing, so reality went down, if reality goes down, affinity goes down, you don’t like each other that much right now, or not as much right.

Because you have a disagreement and communication goes down, you don’t talk to each other, right. So how can you fix that knowing the ARC strategy, you say okay reality is down.

So I need to bring either communication up or affinity up, and then the reality come up too. So what can you do?

can start communicating with her. I don’t know why we disagreeing, but let’s talk it out because I don’t understand where you’re coming from, I’ll be listening to you.

And once you start talking, you know, communicating, then reality goes up again, and then affinity, you end up snuggling on the couch again, right.

Or the other way to bring it up is increase affinity. So you decide there’s a disagreement, decide not to communicate, but she’s sitting in the couch, you’re going to sit up to her, you’re going to give her a kiss.

hug a little bit and then suddenly you’re going to start communicating or laughing and then again. So I’m trying to make clear that if one goes down the other to go down but then you can fix it by doing one of the other.

Does that make sense? It’s the same in business. And I remember an example when I used to be the CEO of a physical therapy slash acupuncture clinic and one quote unquote team member, I don’t like the word employee or staff.

staff is an infection, right? So that’s not a good word. But an employee that wasn’t really producing, I just, I just thought she was just hanging around and looking busy but not really producing.

And so I didn’t like her and she didn’t like me. But once I understood this ARC triangle, I said, well, I’m the manager.

She’s not producing. I add a letter go or I need to make sure she starts producing. So there was no affinity between us.

I realized I needed to start either creating reality or communicating but I didn’t know her, so I had to communicate.

So I started talking to her more during the day and conversations. So the second day already, I realized by talking to her because she had daughters, I said, are your daughters doing?

Are they engaged in something? Yeah, they play soccer. happens to me that my daughters played soccer too. So what did we create by communicating?

We created a reality. We had something in common. We agreed that soccer was great for little girls, right? So now the communication went up, the reality went up, and then the affinity, oh, I didn’t like him but I came better now.

I didn’t like her as an employee but I like her better now. And so without talking about production, guess what happens?

So that’s the ARC triangle and that’s that’s one things those easy strategies to start implementing in your personal life in your business life because you can manage that easily.

So, this first part was all about getting a little bit more control over your stress, control over your thoughts, organizing those thoughts, and starting to eliminate things that don’t serve us, starting to eliminate tasks and things that we do that don’t serve us and already starting to free up valuable time because that will be part number two of this workshop.

But before we go into part number two, I’m just going to be quiet for a few minutes and you guys can unmute as questions or maybe examples or experiences just share with the group if there’s anything that kind of pops into your mind regarding the things that we just went over.

@51:01Justin Brost

The question I have, Mike, is this works on a personal level, but you could also use it on a business level, right?

@51:12drmikevt@ymail.com

Yes, correct. Yeah. For certain, especially, you know, even though to do and to do and to like and not like, what activities you should not be doing as a business and you should be doing, you know, what’s the purpose of the goal of the vision was the mission was the vision.

So yes, you can always translate that into personal or business for sure. Okay, good. It’s almost nine already. So I think we’re going to be able to get through this second part two and then we’ll leave the other two parts for next week.

But from the four parts, this may be the most important part, right? I know everybody and it’s all of us.

We don’t have enough time in the day to get everything done right and that’s what creating stress and we’re getting brought out and we need help and I need to get on this call and I need to do this and this and this this so.

This is more about freeing up valuable time and you already know a little bit where this is going with with things to do and goals and purpose we got to start saying no to things and we didn’t things out and really stay focused on the one and only thing.

That matters and that we want to accomplish in our life right so these are strategies to regain focus increase productivity and minutes your time effectively.

At the eyes of method book it’s chapter number three that will go into more detail into that and so here.

What we’re going to go over here in the 3040 minutes is we need to invest time to save time and that’s very difficult for people do especially all of us professionals.

That are busy all day long work weekends work later. nights, emergencies with patients, you name it. But what I’m telling you now is maybe the most important thing here.

If you don’t invest this time and do the things in this number two worksheet, and it may take while to get it all organized.

But if you don’t do that, you’re going to waste thousands and thousands of hours in the future, and it will never stop the time wasting.

When you invest the time now in the next few weeks to get this under control and get this clear and get this all done and get in control of your calendar, which we’ll talk about in part number three of this module, you’re going to be so happy, you’re not going to know what to happen because you have a lot of free time, you see everything clear, you’re in control, you don’t have to stress, you’re not overwhelmed, you’re just going straight towards that finish line.

And so you need to invest this time to save a lot of time in the future. future. All right, so let’s go stop over the strategies that you can start with immediately.

The first thing, make sure I don’t forget anything. The first thing is, and you may have heard of this, making appointments with yourself.

Let’s scroll down. There it is. Okay, making important with yourself now. If you didn’t notice, this is the number one discipline of successful people.

I repeat, this is the number one discipline of successful people. So, this is the challenge for you guys. For the next seven to ten days, you schedule a 30-minute appointment with yourself each and every day, and you’re going to do that ideally at the same time.

So, in the column, you write down the date, January 25th. Let’s say you start January 25th. the time, and then what am I going to do?

You schedule an appointment with yourself, what are you going to focus on, what are you going to work on, what are you going to brainstorm on, what are you going to organize, etc.

It could be completing the worksheets, right, in this case, and then you check it out in the box there.

So, experts say that just doing, that’s why I say 7, experts say that just doing 10 days of this can increase productivity 3 to 4 times.

Just doing these 10 days can increase productivity 3 to 4 times, according to the experts, can look it up, you got to make appointments with yourself.

Alright, so you’re going to do that, and this is where I start making people accountable, right, I want to see things, I want to see how things going and after 7 to 10 days, you’re going to reflect on yourself how scheduling this time impact your productivity.

Alright, once you got that exercise done for a week at least. How did it go? Every successful business person does that, scheduling appointments with him or herself.

All right, next. Time-saving strategies. And these are all things that I’m introducing you to, and I’m gonna challenge you to try it at least, right?

And for all of people, this is difficult, but the first one is a social media detox, right? Now, unless social media is job, you can do this.

So for the next 48 hours, disconnect from all social media platforms. So you gotta move your social media apps that are on your phone on the first screen, you can swipe them to your second or your third screen.

So they’re not right on that first screen. don’t have to delete them, right? turn them, turn off the notifications and move those icons on your first screen of your phone.

Move them to the second or the third screen. All right. And then again, It’s going to save up a lot of time because we spend way too much time on social media when we’re not even productive.

It doesn’t serve us. So again, a two-day challenge, zero social media, and then I want you to write down how that went, how it impacted your focus, how it impacted your time.

All right, next, an email management worksheet. We, especially for those who get many, many emails every day. So for the next five days, this is the challenge, is you do not check or respond emails between 5 p.m.

9 a.m. Right? These emails are not all that urgent, 5 p.m. 9 a.m. This is time for you, time for self-development, to do your whole work, to focus on things important for you.

And so that’s your challenge right there. It’s actually probably a good time to make that appointment with yourself if you’re not going to be doing your emails, right?

and then i don’t know if you need know what it means it uh the the verbi cheese to triage or inbox so you do that on your phone before you ever check your emails during the day whether you’re doing morning or the evening you on your phone you basically swipe to delete them you unsubscribe to them because otherwise you’re going to get that same same email every day and for years you’re deleting the same email so just unsubscribe to the emails that you don’t want or block them you swipe them and or you move them to another inbox and when you work on your emails that’s already done when you go to your computer you want to respond you don’t want to do that on computer it sounds futile but it takes a lot more time to do that on your computer or your laptop then on your phone all right and then there’s the destruction elimination action plan so for the next five days while you’re doing that email stuff minimize

distractions by putting your phone in airplane mode after you use it. Turn on, do not disturb on your desktop and avoid responding to non-urgent messages.

Okay. this is the thinking behind this. This device here that I’m showing you, it’s pretty powerful because I remember being in Belgium, in middle school, high school, I had to take my bicycle in the rain for a few months to the library.

Once I got to the library, I had to find a book which sometimes took half an hour to actually find the book and then only to find out the book was checked out.

But if I was lucky, I wasn’t checked out. Now, I got to read the book and find the references and this is hours of work.

Right now, we want to know something and now with the AI, we have this tool. This can be to our advantage.

But what we can’t allow is that when we’re focused, when we’re writing our book chapter, when we’re doing a project on our own time, when we’re making a

Normally for ourselves and filling out our workship, this may not interrupt us, we are not at the service of somebody else, we are not somebody else’s to do list, it’s something you need to start realizing.

Okay, when you’re working when you focus when you’re getting these things off in another room or on silence or airplane mode, okay, use it to your advantage, but don’t let it distract you don’t let it interrupt you, especially when you are doing that.

And important tasks. All right. And there’s the productivity on the goal plan and that’s just when traveling. I didn’t know, but the average American travels about an hour per year.

That’s the average American professionals usually travel a lot more. Several hundred hours per year, right. So when you travel and hopefully you’re doing this already, you don’t want to be.

on your social media. You don’t want to be watching useless movies on the airplane. You actually want to plan activities and and be productive, right?

So, calls, plan emails, do self-development, work on worksheets, listen to podcasts, you need to read a book on molecular hydrogen or on analog PMF, whatever it is that you need to do, use that time wisely, right?

Even if you commute or drive a lot, what can you listen to that’s going to help you, right? So, don’t waste that time to do that.

Number four, very important. We talked about organizing your chaos a little bit already. We’re going to calculate now and you got to do this with me on your worksheet and you your time, okay?

So, right down in number one, what’s your desire to not necessarily what you’re making now. would just think about 2025 when you have to do your taxes in 2026.

What is your desired annual income? Write that down online number one. Line number two, you can think big, that’s no problem.

Line number two, the workdays per year. You can adjust that later when you have time and you’re pungling on this, but the average is 220, you can write 220 if you don’t if it’s more or less.

And then hours per workday, is it six, is it eight, do you work ten hours per day, what is it right there, all right?

And then below the formula is you do the workdays times the hours per day, if you took 220 and eight, it will be thousand, seven hundred and sixty, seventeen hundred and sixty.

The hourly rate is then the income divided by the total hours, line 1 divided by the 1,760, right? So for example, if you put down 300,000 online 1, 228, then your work hours, work days times hours, your income divided by the total hours will be $170 per hour.

That’s what it would be. If your income would be desired, income is 300,000. That’s an example, right? But we’re not there yet, guys.

And that’s not on its worksheet, but this is what I would do on top of this formula. What is the percentage?

Write this down because I need you to think about it and get accurate on this when you think about it or look through your books or monitor yourself today.

What’s the percentage? Of you, you personally generating revenue versus doing admin PR emails marketing filing all the administrative stuff.

So if you have an eight hour day, how many hours are you generating money versus doing all the other stuff, all right?

So let’s say it’s 20%. That’s one fifth. So then you do that other than $70 per hour that we came up with times five because that’s what you really worth.

So that would be $850 per hour. Did everybody follow me? Okay, so Justin, how much are you worth per hour?

@1:04:58Justin Brost

How much am I worth?

@1:05:00drmikevt@ymail.com

for how much might actually make you know how much you work that’s what we’re that we’re we’re we’re calculating your value so if if you’re this is my example if you’re deciding on three hundred thousand two hundred and twenty work days eight hours per day then your total hours worth is thousand seven sixty income divided by is one hundred and fifty per hour that’s what your work is what they think but I don’t think so I think we need to ask ourselves the question from the eight hours to work how many hours are you making or producing money is it is it half of the time fifty percent and you got to do the hourly rate times two if it’s thirty three percent you’re making money and the rest you’re doing stuff anybody else could do like at mid work and phone calls and emails and and organizing folders and making brochures and all that kind of stuff.

If if you’re doing that sixty six percent of the time and you’re only thirty three percent on the following closing and collecting money then you do that.

Early rates times three if it’s only 20% of the time that you’re making money And the rest you’re doing other stuff And then you do that I would relate times five and that’s how much you as a personal work.

So what you’re worth Well, it’s funny cuz I was using the same number that 300,000 number But what percent the char you collecting live versus being busy?

@1:06:28Justin Brost

Exactly Exactly, it’s like all of a sudden I’ve got this And they desire to want to be able to hire somebody to Simple unit because I’m I can pay them thirty five forty dollars an hour to assemble our units You’re already running ahead, but that’s good by now all of a sudden.

@1:06:47drmikevt@ymail.com

I’m You know Somebody that’s worth eight hundred fifty dollars and you’re working a job that somebody that makes seven dollars per hour can do, right?

So that’s not a good use of your time who? who else has a number? Mike, do you have a number?

What are you worth per hour?

@1:07:07Michael David Michael David Turner

I’m problems with this because I’m not my strongest suit. But what I did was I put 80,000 in after tax hours used to 220 used to the eight but I haven’t come up with the the workdays the hours.

@1:07:26drmikevt@ymail.com

If you have the 80,000 to 220 in the eight then you take the the workdays times the hours is 1,760 so filling 1,760 total hours work 1,760 and then you take 80,000 divide by 1,760 Anybody calculated it?

80,000? No? Anybody’s got it? You want me to do it? When you need your calculator, what was the number?

80,000 divided by 760.

@1:08:24Justin Brost

Yeah, that’s 45.

@1:08:26drmikevt@ymail.com

$45. $45. Okay, per hour. Now the question is, Mike, during your eight-hour day, how much percent of that are you producing money?

Are you generating money, accepting money, collecting money, right? If you’re working for somebody in a job, you’re not, right?

Right. if you’re a business owner, you’re doing all these other things that are not directly collecting money, right? So it could stay at $45.

per hour but it’s still valid. Miss Beauvoir. Can you hear me okay? What are you worth per hour?

@1:09:15Jayden

I’m thinking big. put 8.52 per hour.

@1:09:19drmikevt@ymail.com

Yes, perfect. So you’re worth $850 per hour. now let’s move on, let’s move on. So let’s say you’re going to do a seminar online for people and it’s going to be all more like a workshop for three hours.

What are you going to charge? 8.52 times. That’s the minimum you’re going to charge because that’s your time. All right.

So you can’t do a three hour workshop for $209. Okay. You cannot do that. So now. Now, you know what you’re worth, but the next page, this is where Justin got a little bit ahead of the thinking and it’s good.

No, it’s not even here. You’re going for activity there, but we need to know what we’re worth because later on, obviously, we in productivity chapter, we’re going to talk about about automation, about outsourcing, about standardization, about optimization, we’re going to talk about all those things, right, that we need to do, because we don’t want to do things, you know, below our pay rates, and there’s many things that we are doing below our pay rate right now.

But what you really need to understand here is that time cannot be saved, but are manipulated, are repeated because it’s so important, this this part here, because I want you to put in the time to save time.

Time cannot be safe, bottom, manipulate it. only one way to create more time or to free up valuable time is plan, plan and plan.

And that’s what we’re trying to do. need to plan everything. Now, here’s a good question to ask yourself too.

It’s not all the worksheet. Alright? And already you don’t have to necessarily write it down because you’ll know the answer, but it’s good to ponder about this.

If you were 10 years older than you are today, 10 years older than you are today, but everything else, your job, your house, your life, your family and even your income is the same as today.

Would you treat your time differently? Okay? Would you treat your time differently? You’ve obviously been wasting it. not been growing.

You’ve been stagnant. Right? even me. more income, everything is the same, 10 years later. That’s most people’s story. Therefore, we need to start being more serious about our time and use it differently, okay?

One of the things that I always have fun with when I talk to entrepreneurs and talk about saving up valuable time, because many times I work with people that are not necessarily taking this course, but they want to upgrade their body and the mind.

And so now we need to find time to put in power routines, which may be only two times 20 minutes per day.

But oh, I don’t have any time. I’m an entrepreneur. I live on executive. I travel a lot. There is no time in my life to free up.

Let me tell you, the average person is easy, because I would walk to a day with you, and almost minute by minute see what you’re doing.

And we can free up a lot of time, right? Number one, a lot of people watch TV, they watch Netflix during the week, during the weekend, there’s zero use for that, right?

Now, it doesn’t mean that it couldn’t be planned, we talk about scripting your life later, because we need to enjoy life, need to spend time with loved ones, and we can put the time away and put that in our calendar, and then if we decide to bench watch Netflix, that’s fine, all right?

But it needs to be planned at the time with the family, right? So that would be free up a lot of time, right?

If that’s something you do, or you’re so tired after work, you’re just, you know, hanging the couch and you’re just taking a nap, that could be it too, that means you’re not sleeping good at night.

And there’s many other things that you are doing, which we’ll learn later too, we’re doing many projects, doing a lot of work that’s not serving us, right?

So we’re gonna do many things on top of this next training session on Monday, many things to free up a

And one of the things, the executive said is I have no time, not at all. So the only question I asked him is how many meetings did you have today?

He said two. I said how long are those meetings? Are there always an hour? So my question is your professional intellectual business people.

Why would it take longer than 15 minutes for you guys to make a decision on something? In other words, stop scheduling one hour meetings and do yourself and everybody else on a meeting a big favor and schedule only 15 minute meetings, 10, 20 minutes stops, right?

So stop accepting one hour meetings. You know, business meetings. There has to be a topic, there has to be a decision.

All your professionals, let’s just make it and move on, right? So suddenly this very busy, busy professional that thought he hadn’t had the one minute in the day to do anything extra.

Suddenly. we will be freed up an hour and a half by getting his meeting scheduled in 15 minute increments versus one hour increments, right?

so you got to start thinking in minutes and not in hours when you make your agenda, when you schedule things.

That’s what this means. Think in minutes, not hours, right?

@1:15:21Justin Brost

We’ve got to. This is really warm in here.

@1:15:29drmikevt@ymail.com

Getting them. The next time is stopping unnecessary projects. A lot of us believe that being productive means doing more things.

And it’s obviously not correct, right? That’s why we start with purpose first. We need to realign with what is our goals, what our dreams, where we want to be, what we want to accomplish.

so anything is that does anything that does not serve. that we need to get rid of, right? We don’t want to be part of a project.

Listen carefully. We don’t want to be part of a project that somebody else’s dream. We don’t want to be part of a project that somebody else’s dream.

That doesn’t mean you need to drop it tomorrow. Maybe that project is paying your bills, right? I’m not suggesting stop working tomorrow.

I’m suggesting we got to have a plan to transition away from that. So what we really are bad at as human beings is saying no.

When people ask us to do things or to be part of something, we always say yes. Because maybe it’s exciting.

Maybe you’re excited about the topic or you want to do it. But first you can say or ask yourself, how is this going to further my purpose, my goals, my dreams.

If it is or it can assist, consider it. not, you got to learn to say it. Oh, okay. Now what you want to do on this sheet here is you’re putting the projects, the things, the tasks that you’re working on that you think are really not furthering your purpose and you put in the middle column the hours you spend on that project per week and then you count them up, you make a total of those hours.

And then in the third column you’re going to figure out how you’re going to eliminate that extra project, how you’re going to get out of it, how you’re going to delegate it to somebody else, so they’re part of your dream, but you don’t want to part of anybody else’s dream project, right?

So start kind of messing with that a little bit because it all become clear very quickly if you do this, these exercises.

And then once you eliminate one because it didn’t serve your purpose and you were able to do that, how many hours did you free up that week and that’s your reflection.

And we just went over this, so when you are engaged in certain projects, you ask these questions. Does it align with your goals, your values?

What’s the consequence if I don’t do this? What’s the consequence if you keep on working 12 hours a week on a project that does not serve your goals or dreams?

What’s the consequence of that? And is it the best use of your time? You already know that answer. So then from all that homework, and you’re going to go back to this, you’re going to think about it, you’re going to draw more things out, and you’re going to start implementing it, you’re going to kind of figure out what the top three strategies is from this workbook so far that you will continue using.

And then you make your commitment like we always do. This is a commitment to yourself, not to me. All right, it’s not going to help me.

You are in charge of putting the rules down for your life, your plan, or your calendar. So this is a commitment to yourself.

Alright, we’re close to our 930, we did half of the worksheet, which is pretty good. So I’m gonna open it up for any questions, any thoughts, any stories, anything you wanna share, and then we’ll finish it up for tonight.

@1:19:30Michael David Michael David Turner

Alright, Dr. Mike, I wanted to go back to purpose, and it’s kind of hard for me to explain it, but I was thinking about the purpose related to my job, and purpose linked to a career, or maybe not linked to a career.

So, with my job… I do feel when I’m of service to people, I feel like that’s part of my purpose.

But a lot of it’s heavy with a bureaucratic process. So that’s demoralizing and that beats me down. Also, I feel like not connected to a job, that I’m in alignment with my purpose whenever I recognize the divinity that’s in everyone.

I feel like that’s part of my purpose and I think a lot of people have that type of purpose.

But it’s kind of more of a virial type of spiritual aspect to it. but when I’m able to do that and it takes a lot of course correction throughout the day, but I’ve been practiced at it and I’m able to basically be present with the folks that I serve or I often find if I happen to engage in conversations with people they’ve literally told me I’ve never shared that with anybody and it’s not as if I’m actively trying to get them to share something in that conversation but it’s just an intention that I set each day related to my spiritual practice to be able to be present with people and to be able to honor them I’m in their presence.

@1:21:50drmikevt@ymail.com

That you explained that actually very well in words so there’s a few things. Module 3 is being present in the moment right and if you ever listen to my

TEDx talk, know, I struggle with that myself a lot. It’s module number three, but you’re correct because it’s, people feel it right when you’re present in a moment when you’re not distracted when your thoughts are not there, right?

And when you’re fully engaged and that’s, like you said, that’s one they’ll share because they know you’re fully engaged and guess what?

The other 99% of the people they talk to are not engaged, right? They are preoccupied with themselves, they’re not available.

And so, you know, that explains that. And that’s great, right? Because you’re doing them a great service by being present and listening to their concerns.

one, when it comes to your purpose and your goals, it’s not going to be overnight, it’s going to take a while.

But the fact that you’re thinking about it is the first step because you obviously, you’re in the social working arena, right?

@1:22:55Michael David Michael David Turner

Social worker?

@1:22:56drmikevt@ymail.com

Yes. Correct. So, so yes, it’s just like the doctors is it’s helping people on on on certain levels and so you have the skills but you’re struggling because you’re working for somebody and it’s all this bureaucracy and it’s red tape so you can’t really fully do what you want to do to help them the way you you would help them right so so we got these two things and so what we got to figure out is again and that’s why the exercise with the the TEDx talk and on the mountain is a good one in this case I think it’s like yes you are in the business where you find fulfillment because you are helping these people and and and you like to do that but what I’m hearing is the bureaucracy so so we need to transcend that bureaucracy and that practically is not possible because you really can do it we gotta go private somehow and in today’s day and age it’s perfectly possible right

Because I used to work in brick buildings helping people one-on-one physical therapy acupuncture blah blah blah and here I am You know talking to whoever I want to talk online and making money So for somebody like you, and I’m just I’m just saying is right Because they’re still different.

It’s online is different than in person, right? Some people need that a lot of the In-person interaction First as other people are okay with being behind the computer and have an interaction with lot of people, right?

It’s probably you need to find that balance, but for Anybody has a skill anybody has something they can contribute to somebody else and so you do too you can help these people socially What we need to explore is how can we do that?

without being an employee without having to deal with bureaucracy and Reach more people than you do now and providing better service while paying my bills and more, right?

And so I’ll have that solution for you now, but it is out there, and you can do it.

@1:25:11Michael David Michael David Turner

And I appreciate that, Matt. That’s why I’m here.

@1:25:17drmikevt@ymail.com

Yeah, exactly.

@1:25:18Michael David Michael David Turner

because I mean, my mentality, and that’s what I saw was working for someone else at, you know, at this.

So that’s definitely mentality. I’m attempting to break out of. That’s my intention. And that’s why I’m here. And I have always had a lot of admiration for, you know, for entrepreneurs and people that I’ve seen that are doing that.

@1:25:42drmikevt@ymail.com

It’s getting out of that comfort zone, right? But you got to do it strategically. got to pay your bills, got to pay your rent, you got to get the electricity on, you got to have food, right?

And so you got to have that plan. And so you don’t have to have that purpose 100% clear today, tomorrow, next week, but

that our six weeks when you have a lot more information and see how it all fits together. And then it should kind of become really clear and you know you should get excited about it.

And if not then we’ll talk and we’ll kind of find a way or we need to do what? Bringing other people because I don’t know anything about social working, right?

What is out there? What is possible? What once you know what you want right here and you know where you are, what is the plan to get from here to here?

It’s that simple, right? But it’s going to be very focused. Just thinking about your job, hating your job, loving your job.

It’s the treadmill, right? So we got to break out of that. So keep thinking, keep working. This is good, the fact that it crosses your mind, the fact that you’re thinking about it, that’s the exercise.

That’s the actual exercise. So keep working on those worksheets, go back to them, keep. with them go through all the modules and then at the end we’ll put it out together and if we’re not there yet you know then we’ll then we’ll find some other people to to put those missing pieces in because that’s part number four of this workshop module number two is the team of experts so that’s all Monday stuff that’s all Monday stuff you welcome Mike yes anybody else a thought a story all right excellent guys it’s 9 30 we did it again thank you for being here again I think this was I can’t place the emphasis it does take time besides being on the call to actually go to those worksheets and put in the time and you can’t do in 10 minutes you can’t do it in 20 minutes it’s probably an hour two hours but I promise you when you’re serious

about this when you do these exercises and after six weeks it comes all together and you’re implemented in your phone in your calendar and you start fine-tuning this you’re gonna be a lot less stressful and you’re gonna have a lot clearer vision you’re gonna be a lot more productive and you’re gonna be knowing where you’re going and when you’re gonna get there all right right on thank you everyone you guys have a great weekend and we’ll see you monday here all right thank you bye bye everyone bye bye
