In 1999 my husband age 71 was diagnosed with MID which is Multi Infarc Dimensia. The diagnosis was based on observations by an old family Dr. and testing which showed a lack of cognitive ability to answer questions. At the time we were snowbirds living in the south in the warmth of winter and back home for summer. With this diagnosis of MID the advice that my husband would be institutionalized in the future, and the fact that he would soon be unable to drive we sold out our southern and Northern holdings. We moved to the most moderate temperature we could then find as we would now have to stay in one place and did not enjoy our severe winters.
Now six years later he passes those tests. He functions at the level he did at the time of our purchase, he drives his car.
We credit our purchases and use of our EFS 100. We are still aging but not with the black cloud once hanging over our heads.
Joyce Cambell (who still lives in some fear but is so Thankful for our extra time together)
